The crowd tonight on the Potomac River was a mix of people from media, tech/social media, artistic/creative, government, legal, business/entrepreneur, and other areas. It was a joint event that 1Piazza held with the Capital Cabal.

We cruised from Georgetown down under the bridges past the Lincoln Memorial and into the large open area where the Anacostia River meets the Potomac River, and then back. It was an enjoyable time, and the attendees commented how nice it was to have this event happen.

We’re excited to have had a full boat in this sold-out event, and hope to repeat the format in the future with a few twists.

We did it again! The DC startup community continues to nurture great companies with innovative businesses. The fifth Startup Rockstars presented some of the most interesting tech startups in the DC area. This post is a recap of the coverage written in this DC Piazza post.
