We cruised from Georgetown down under the bridges past the Lincoln Memorial and into the large open area where the Anacostia River meets the Potomac River, and then back.  It was an enjoyable time, and the attendees commented how nice it was to have this event happen.

We’re excited to have had a full boat in this sold-out event, and hope to repeat the format in the future with a few twists.

This month we’ve also had some planning meetings for evolving 1Piazza towards the vision that has always been a part of it.  The mission statement has been worked on, and a plan of action is being drawn up.  More details later – contact us if you’d like to know more.

We’re also planning a fall workshop for startups, as mentioned in the June event.  Expect the event to be posted by early September.
